The Gladys Robinson Project is the ministry of Rhema Bible Church to the elderly. We feed and clothe them, take care of their health and medical needs, and we love on them and become their family.
The project’s aim is to support elderly people in all aspects of their lives, providing emotional support, practical help, and resources to improve their overall well-being. This includes:
The Project is the brainchild of Dr Ewan Denny, who was raised in his formative years by his grandmother. This developed in him a love for elderly people which he has maintained throughout his life, and in setting up this project, he named it after his grandmother whose name was Gladys Robinson. He named the project in her honour.
Dr Denny says, “Here at the Gladys Robinson Project, we help to look after the social, spiritual, health, and general needs of elderly people in nearly 40 communities in various countries. Not only do we feed and clothe them, but we also provide a safe environment where they can come to relaxe, make new friends, and even go on day trips for free. Our aim is to help make their lives more comfortable, and more pleasant, than it would otherwise be, in the twilight of their lives.”
