Rhema Bible Church is a non-denominational Christian church that believes strongly in the original truths of God’s word, and it (A) rejects man-made tradition and heresies that have crept into Christianity over the centuries, and (B) it restores the original truth, intention and meaning of the scriptures.
The word of God is our principal source for everything that we believe and do. It guides our thinking, our attitudes, our lifestyle, and our behaviours. We are very strong on the correct teaching of God’s word and also its personal application in our daily lives. We believe in holiness and godly living, and we stand for truth.
The church was established as a direct fruit of Rhema Bible School, which for many years taught hundreds of pastors and church leaders on its various year-long Bible courses. The effect of this was that many of them desired to either leave their denominations and change the name of their church to become a Rhema Bible Church, or they started a new work under our brand name when they finished the course.
There are currently well over 60,000 members, in over 1000 Rhema Bible Churches, in 36 countries, and many more are planned over the next 5 years.
Dr Denny, the General Overseer of the church says “Our aim is to have our churches all over the globe and to take the nations for Christ by strong and effective evangelism to win souls, the proper discipling of the saints to make them godly and mature believers, and all backed up by developing pastors and church leaders to effectively inspire and lead God’s people, and teach them the right doctrine.”
He added “Literally tens of thousands of believers will be taught the word of God properly and become biblically literate and able to identify false doctrine and deception when they see or hear it. And hundreds of thousands will watch our Bible teaching videos and grow in their understanding of the scriptures and the End Times in which we live.”

The Statement of Faith for the church is the entire Bible. That is what we believe. We do not see things through the narrow lens of a particular denomination, but we rely on the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us into all truths.
Equally, we are not influenced by tribal customs and tradition, political correctness, the expectations of society, or anything that goes against the truth of God’s word. The word of God must not change for us. We must change for it. And conform to it.
We believe in the God of miracles, so signs and wonders are part of our expectations as a church. We walk in faith as Sons of God, and we believe completely that the Lord can heal anyone of any sickness, and can just as easily raise the dead. If God says it, we believe it, and it’s so!
We are a Bible-based church and if that is what you want, holiness and truth, then come and be part of us. If, however, you are looking for a watered-down and weak Gospel that will make you feel comfortable, because it won’t touch your lifestyle, then we are not for you. You will find no compromise with the word of God here.
Dr Denny says “We are here to win souls for Christ and to prepare them for the rapture. This is our mandate, and we take it very seriously. To the question, “Who will go for us, and who shall we send?”, our answer is “Here am I Lord, send me.”
